Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Maintenance Executive to join our team. The appointed personnel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering operations, adhering to regulatory standards and minimizing downtime through effective maintenance strategies and programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance operational performance.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, and review and communicate their impact on maintenance activities.
• Effectively delegate maintenance issues and small projects to the appropriate team members, ensuring effective planning and management.
• Develop and manage a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule to ensure full preventative maintenance and timely completion of missed activities.
• Audit and ensure compliance with engineering data systems and SOPs.
• Schedule internal and external work to maximize planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Manage the team to ensure machine availability and handle dysfunctional machinery.
• Optimize equipment performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Oversee engineering material management.
• Manage preventive maintenance planning and record keeping.
• Handle shutdown and breakdown maintenance and manage related records.
• Oversee entire plant maintenance.
• Manage equipment qualification, including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of Industry experience in a Chemical or Pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within an engineering department.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management and engineering operations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
